Basic Policy on Sustainability

Our vision (philosophy) is “Towards a world overflowing with ‘I want to make this happen!’” To achieve this, the UNISOL Group has formulated its Basic Policy on Sustainability, which aims to balance both economic and social value.

(1) Achieve harmony and coexistence with the environment

We believe that the environment is an asset shared by all humankind, and we will strive to respond to climate change issues and conserve resources by visualizing and reducing the factors in our various business processes that could contribute to environmental impacts.

Corresponding materiality: reducing environmental impacts in our business activities

(2) Support sustainability in the manufacturing industry

We aim to be our customers’ first choice as a “solution partner” with unique ideas, proactively addressing the various social issues that manufacturing sites face, such as the diminishing labor force caused by Japan’s declining birthrate and aging population, and the challenge of responding to evolving technologies.

Corresponding materiality: improving productivity through proposals for automation and labor-saving for production equipment and construction sites

(3) Realize a secure, safe, and comfortable society

We will promote business activities that take into account the security, safety, and comfort of not only our business partners, but also end users, by developing a stable supply system for our products and merchandise and applying cutting-edge technologies such as IoT.

Corresponding materiality: a secure, safe, and stable supply system for products and merchandise

(4) Increase work motivation, and promote growth and social contribution

By recognizing the importance of respecting human rights and practicing diversity management that emphasizes the individuality of each employee, we will develop human resources who are motivated to work, can grow autonomously, and contribute to society.

Corresponding materiality: promotion of diversity & inclusion

(5) Promote fair and honest corporate activities

Guided by our corporate philosophy and as a public instrument for the benefit of society, we will abide by all laws and regulations, our code of conduct, and the spirit thereof, and promote compliance practices with a strong sense of ethics. We will also aim to continuously improve our corporate value by undertaking activities to properly manage internal and external business risks.

Corresponding materiality: strengthening our risk management and crisis management systems
