Appointing women in management roles
Guided by our Basic Policy on Sustainability, the UNISOL Group has set out the promotion of diversity & inclusion as a priority issue (materiality) for the Group. We have set targets for the proportion of female managers, our number of non-Japanese employees, and other factors, and are moving forward with initiatives in these areas.
We have set a target of 3.0%* for the percentage of management roles occupied by female workers (the proportion of female managers) by the fiscal year ending December 2026 and are promoting the appointment of women into management positions.
*This figure covers: UNISOL Holdings Corporation and our three main consolidated subsidiaries (UNISOL Corporation; Furusato Industries, Ltd.; Maruka Corporation)
Career training for female employees
We hold career training for our female career-track employees, aimed at giving them a clear picture of how they can consider their future plans and shape their career over the long term, as well as helping them to build stronger peer-to-peer connections with other female employees.
In FY2025, this training was attended by a total of 25 employees from across the group companies: Maruka Furusato Corporation*, Furusato Industries, Ltd., Maruka Corporation, G-net Corporation, Security Design Inc., Gifu Shoji Co., Ltd., and UNISOL BUSINESS PARTNERS Corporation. As with previous years, the participants were either new graduates in their third to sixth year or mid-career hires. The program focused on self-understanding through themes such as “Career Values and Life Design” and “Personal Strengths and Potential,” featuring lectures by external instructors and group work. During the session, participants also worked on creating new “Career Plan Sheets” or updating their existing ones. A networking lunch held on the same day provided an opportunity for female employees to connect, strengthening ties across different companies, departments, and age groups. In the post-training questionnaire, attendees shared positive feedback such as: “I realized that if there isn’t a role model, I can become one myself,” and “Interacting with so many female colleagues made me feel like I’m not alone.”
Based on the feedback gathered from past training sessions, we introduced a support scheme for female-specific cancer screenings in April 2025. This initiative serves as concrete evidence of the UNISOL Group’s commitment to comprehensively supporting the health and long-term career development of our female employees, and many employees are already taking advantage of this support.

D&I Workshop
As a first step toward reaffirming the significance of D&I and accelerating group-wide initiatives, we held the first D&I Workshop in FY2025.
A total of 31 participants—regardless of gender, nationality, years of service, or rank—joined from the following group companies: Maruka Furusato Corporation*, Furusato Industries, Ltd., Maruka Corporation, G-net Corporation, Security Design Inc., Gifu Shoji Co., Ltd., and UNISOL BUSINESS PARTNERS Corporation. The workshop was held over two days. On the first day, we held lectures and group work sessions featuring an external instructor, covering themes such as the significance of D&I, unconscious bias, and the skills necessary to turn diversity into a strength. On the second day, participants visited Nissay New Creation Co., Ltd., a special subsidiary of Nippon Life Insurance Company. Through a facility tour and wheelchair experiences, they gained hands-on insight into inclusive work practices—specifically, how to design environments where individuals leverage their strengths and support one another’s challenges. Building on these insights, participants worked in groups to develop proposals on the theme of “Actions to become an organization where diverse talent thrives,” which were then presented to the Chairperson and President.
Post-workshop survey results demonstrated that the program had a significant impact on transforming participants’ mindsets:
Changes in awareness through the workshop (% of positive responses)
・Understanding and ability to explain basic D&I concepts in one’s own words Before: 29% → After: 100%
・Thinking of D&I issues as our own matters Before: 39% → After: 100%
The 31 participants were appointed as “D&I Ambassadors,” with high expectations for their continued involvement in future initiatives. In fact, these Ambassadors have already begun activities to share their learnings from the workshop across the entire group.
Starting with this workshop, the UNISOL Group will accelerate group-wide mindset and behavioral changes, continuously promoting the creation of an inclusive organization where every employee can maximize their unique personality and potential.
